2014
2014 was our first year traveling full-time in our RV.
Highlights:
  • We spent about a month in Kansas City with Steve and Charlotte (Lisa's brother and family) "mooch docking" in their driveway.  What a treat it was to spend such a long time hanging out with them.
  • We were able to spend Thanksgiving and Christmas in Colorado Springs with friends and family.
  • We spent a couple of months enjoying Texas.  We were able to spend some great time with Jeff (Lisa's brother and family)--we had not seen them for about 10 years.
  • Spent the winter on the Gulf of Mexico.
  • Spent about a month in Virginia Beach and Norfolk with Greg (Lisa's brother and family).  George did a complete kitchen remodel for them.  It was a glorious time hanging out with the 4 of them.
  • Moved across the country to Washington state.  We spent 10 days at Marty's (Lisa's brother and family) in Moses Lake, WA.  We were so happy they have a large driveway and we were able to mooch dock here.
  • We were able to spend about 2 1/2 weeks in the Seattle area.  We were able to celebrate Sonja and Mark's beautiful wedding in July.  We were able to spend an extended visit with Monica and her family.
  • We were thrilled to have our granddaughter, Amber travel back from Seattle to Colorado Springs.  We created great memories together.
  • We finished our year at our home campground in Monument, Colorado.

2015

  • February we enjoyed a Good Sam's Rally in Phoenix.
  • We spent the remaining part in winter moving around Arizona and California
  • We head back to Colorado, via Utah to celebrate Amber's High School graduation.
